The Zlín model is based on our popular Journey sandal. We created it as an affordable introduction to Nallu barefoot sandals. It is ideal for anyone trying barefoot sandals for the first time and looking for a comfortable pair for everyday wear in the city.
A soft sole for comfortable walking
The sandal features a 10 mm sole made from lightweight EVA foam in Zlín. The soft sole cushions each step and provides comfort even on hard city surfaces. Its cushioning also makes Zlín suitable for barefoot beginners who are still getting used to a more natural way of walking. The softer sole is more forgiving of heavier steps and helps make the transition from conventional footwear more comfortable.
The sandals provide plenty of room for your toes and use Nallu’s characteristic fastening system. They are best suited to the city, pavements, cycle paths and paved trails, but you can wear them anywhere their features suit your needs.
Making good use of Czech materials
Making footwear components sometimes leaves a surplus of quality materials. This inspired the Zlín model. We carefully select suitable materials made in Zlín and give them a new life as affordable barefoot sandals. We therefore make Zlín in limited quantities, depending on the availability of these materials.

Maintaining Nall Sandals is very simple. All you need is a soft brush and clean or soapy water. Do not dry the sandals in direct sunlight, in a dryer, or on a radiator. Dry them in a warm place, but do so slowly.
To combat odor, I recommend using baking soda. Sprinkle it onto the damp insole, leave it for 10 minutes, and then rinse. You can also use a deodorizing spray.

Measure both feet and select your size based on the length in the table below. Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper. Hold a pencil perpendicular to the paper and your foot. Mark your heel and the longest toe, then both sides of your foot. Measure the length. You can verify your size by downloading the sandal template in PDF.

How to adjust the sandals
Place your foot in the center of the sandal and adjust the WingLock wings. Keep the instep strap looser for natural foot movement, while tightening the heel strap firmly to secure the foot. Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right sandal size?
It is best to use our print template (printed at 100% scale) and stand on it. Neither your toes nor your heel should extend over the edge; the ideal excess space is approx. 4–8 mm. If you are unsure or have a specific foot shape, we will be happy to make your sandals custom-fitted to the outline of your foot.
What is the difference between the insole materials and can I wear them in the water?
For frequent contact with water, the best choice is durable and quick-drying eco-leather, which can handle both streams and the sea. If you are looking for maximum breathability and excellent sweat absorption for hot days, go for hemp. For maximum comfort and a snug fit, classic leather is ideal, as it will gradually mold to your foot, but it is not suitable for wet conditions.
Are Nallu sandals suitable for barefoot beginners too?
Definitely. If you are just starting out with barefoot shoes, we recommend choosing a model with a slightly thicker sole (e.g., Journey), which will provide comfortable cushioning on hard city surfaces without depriving you of toe freedom and a zero drop.
How to properly care for and clean your sandals?
After a demanding day, simply wipe them with a damp cloth or a soft brush with lukewarm soapy water. Never wash the sandals in a washing machine and do not dry them in direct sunlight or on a radiator to avoid unnecessary damage to the material.
